What was the highlight of Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa
Feel home in paradise
From pick-up until departure at MLE, Emerald team took great care of us, always pro-active and attentive, always smiling, always at the top of service.
The water villa was amazing in size and luxurious feeling, with crystal clear water and the house reef just under our terrace. Tipp: explore the island and the restaurants for lunch and dinners.
From fruits, mock-/cocktails over the very diverse meals and great tastes to wine exploration, we only felt there was never enough time (and belly space) to experience “all of it”.
The same for activities - we enjoyed the yoga sessions, SPA treatments, diving and snorkeling as well as tennis lessons, cocktail mixing: always kind, fun, pleasant, superior quality. After the frequent “how are you” questions, we were simply missing the right words / superlatives to express how we felt.
Leaving after 6 days feels like we needed to say our goodbyes to friends & family… we will be missing the smiles and the talks. We did not feel like ‘only’ guests, but like THE guests to each of the team members, who take pride in ensuring you have the best time.
A heartfelt THANK YOU for this experience, dear Emerald team.

Great place for a family vacation
Great food, awesome kids club, very friendly and helpful staff always trying to do their best in satisfying our needs and bassically any request. Special thanks for outstanding service, attitude and help belongs to our butler Faya, Maria who besides taking great care of our kids with other girls in the kids club, dis nit hesitate to even borrow me her own housing and lenses for my camera which I forgot to bring with me, Rhido and Nash making our lunches and dinners even more enjoyable serving delicious wines and our great excursion guide Nappe from the diving center, all helping us make memories that will last a lifetime. THANK YOU!!!
Food in Le Asiatique restaurant is very good but service needs to improve.

Great relaxing stay with supreme service from our host Wisham!
Terrific service all round, everyone really made an effort especially our wonderful Host Wisham. No ask was too great for him and we knew we could rely on him for anything. We travelled to Emerald for our daughter's first birthday and he went the extra mile to organise decorations to make her feel special and a special dinner on the beach. Just absolutely top notch and he took our stay to the next level. Our kids also went into the kids club and I can't speak highly enough of them - all 3 really enjoyed it and the staff made extra effort to settle them in including accommodating a last-minute babysitting service for a couple of hours. Overall the staff and their attentiveness was outstanding, everyone knew our names, what the kids we like around meal times and small touches like arranging my coffees just the way I liked them daily was really great.
The main pool was a disappointment. There's only one and while it wasn't busy it's pretty bland and there was no shading etc. The area titled Kids Pool was a bit of a joke - it's more of a shallow water section to a walk way. It was the only downside and with some investment (a new proper Main Pool, an actual kids area with shading) I'd say the facilities would be fine.
